Increase Biodiversity

Posted on

Green walls can play an important role in bringing back biodiversity into our urban spaces. They can act as resting stops, sources of energy and habitats for pollinators, invertebrates and other organisms, helping to sustain ecosystems.

At Greenology, we use a variety of native and locally adapted plants on our walls, transforming them into mini ecosystems which attracts and supports beneficial organisms such as butterflies and birds. If you are not a fan of these beneficial animals, we can also leave out respective plants to minimize their visitations. However, we do encourage the appreciation of nature’s interactions and how beautiful and perfect they can be. We hope our green walls can become a more popular option to integrate wildlife habitats which have been displaced during urbanisation back into our midst.
