The Ministry of Education (MOE) has an Outdoor Adventures division that focuses on teaching school children life skills through camping and various outdoor activities. To pick up more knowledge, the Outdoor Educators that organise and run these activities held part of their staff retreat at Greenology.
Chief Greenologist Veera shared the importance of Urban Greening, Food Security and Sustainability, and Green Intelligence. The half day programme also included four interactive zones where participants got up close with different green technologies and engineering solutions that allow us to integrate greenery in our urban spaces. Participants built their own self watering planter at our plant propagation station, and each took home a plant to nurture.
